One of my very favorite bands are coming back to Vancouver! I’m so lucky, they always seem to land here in October right around my birthday, making me a very happy gal! This time they are at the Vogue Theatre Oct.10,11th. I believe the 10th is sold out, but there are always ways! ( I have my tix, so I can post this w/o worry).
Eugene Hutz, the front man, is also the star of Madonna’s directorial debut film “Filth and Wisdom”, which I highly recommend. Not for everyone, but hey, what is?

This is a most excellent movie , about food, yes, but mainly about love and perseverance and following one’s dreams and passions. With the state of the economy today, and so much uncertainty, this is a beacon of light that guides us back to our inner selves. Go see this film, follow your heart, and Bon Appetit!
